Human and Environmental Care Agency (HECA) is a national non-governmental organization committed to advancing environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and community development across Somalia. We work with vulnerable communities to address the growing impacts of climate change, environmental degradation, poverty, and humanitarian crises through innovative, locally driven, and sustainable solutions.
Our interventions focus on environmental protection, sustainable livelihoods, renewable energy, water and sanitation, disaster risk reduction, and community empowerment. Through strong partnerships and community engagement, HECA promotes resilience, dignity, and long-term development for people and ecosystems alike.
